Having Some "Problems"

Hi Guys,

I'm using Quake 3 ( from 2 days..) on Imac 20". I can just play on the 50% of the servers listed..
Cause i need to download maps, and i got problem even when i turn on the "Auto Downloading" option. So i've started downloading the maps by myself.

Now, maps should be in the Baseq3 folder right ?
But on Mac OsX i've two...Baseq3 folders..!!
One in the Application > Quake 3 > Baseq3 and another one in the User > Library > Application Support > Quake 3 > Baseq3...

I really dunno where should i put maps and mods.. Sorry for botherin you!

PS : I noticed that in the first Baseq3 folders i've this things : Models folder, Sound folder and others pak1.pk3 etc..
In application support i've the second Baseq3 folder with other folders : cpma, cyberhell, defrag, excessiveplus etc...

probably here .. in baseq3 folder with the rest of the .pk3 files.
