I used the sprinter for a lot of sequences (I've got several series shots going over doubles from takeoff to landing...good stuff.)

The sprinter works best with .jpg because you can get more continual shots than with raw (especially since I am not using a UDMA card that is fast enough to handle the raw files at 6.3 fps). So when I wanted to shoot raw, I'd stick to manual. But I did a mixture of both shots that day since it was really a learning process.

Squirrel seems to have wonky-eye-syndrome in the second pic. Relative of someone we know?

Great pictures, tnf. I'm sure you're in love with that new camera body. The pics are sharp as fcuk.

I went to Williamsburg, Brooklyn in New York City on 04.09.09. It was a gorgeous afternoon, hope you enjoy the shots;

Some nice pictures Sparkle!

I'm ready for a new Nikon body. Think I'll wait till a D400 is released.

Thank you. Yea, the D400 will be really nice. Better high ISO performance with HD video mode.

Good stuff Sparkle!

Just got a battery grip for the camera with the money I won in my NCAA pool and Master's pool, feels like a whole new camera with that thing.

I knew this was a good buy back in 2004 when I had the cash to blow. Still works like a charm today, thus no need to upgrade in the digi-slr realm of things..

I was comparing the D3 images to the D2x at low iso and the difference was minute.
