I am a AVID quake player .. however I lost my computer in a lighting storm a while ago .. I was just now able to get a new one .. while installing quake I realized that I have lost my CD Key!!! ..
Is there anywhere that I can go to get a new key? .. I really want to play online .. and I dont want to use a hacked CD key just to have problems trying to play online .. I am a legit owner of Quake3 .. and I am kicking my self for loosing the CD key!!!

I am afraid you are out of luck. I don't think that you are going to get a CD key in this forum. There are several options available to you:
1. Buy Quake III on Steam (cost is about $15, not a big deal).
2. Play a free version of Quake III like Openarena or AlienArena. They are enjoyable games very similar to Quake III (based on the GPLed Quake III engine).
3. Play QuakeLive, it's absolutely free.
