lol, that must have cost a small fortune. i'm amazed you could even find any ammo for sale, given that comrade obama is coming to pry all guns from your warm, living hands
You're worried about Obama? :olo:

BTW, shot gun shells are cheap. About $0.25 a round.

You're too dumb to have a valid opinion on my intelligence.

It's kind of funny that you even think you're bright enough to post something that another adult wouldn't understand, Stupidtan. :olo:

Ooooh, look out Mr. High Brow is showing his intellectual prowess by using the "I'm rubber you're glue" retort.

I can not wait to shoot it.
after playing way too much true combat for q3, where the saiga was perfect for firing through cover (or dishing out suprise enemas to snipers) - would definitely buy one of those if i lived in the states.

have you put a laser/bayonet/magic tree on it yet?

A friend of mine tried to buy some 9mm ammo this weekend (got a pistol a couple weeks ago and hasn't fired it yet). When he asked for the rounds, the guy informed him that you now have to put your name on a waiting list and wait until your turn comes around -- and there were 250 names on the list already. This was at a super wal-mart no less.

There must be some serious stockpiles somewhere. Shit is ridiculous.

A lot of states now have waiting lists for ammo... just as though it was a firearm. I would suggest a private purchase or a gun show.

It is ridiculous. That's why I don't buy ammo locally anymore. I buy it on the internet.
Here are a few good sites that you can buy ammo in bulk or by the box.
DansAmmo.com
ammoman.com
JGSales.com
the-armory.com
georgia-arms.com
gunbroker.com (you have to bid on all the items)

When did the ammo wait-listing become an issue? I had heard about ammo shortages affecting police departments - is this current wait-list problem more to do with economic/manufacturing cost issues or legal stuff like the waiting lists for guns?

I think it's a false shortage to drive up the price. The NRA is screaming Obama is going to ban all the guns and ammo. So the ammo manufacturers are feeding into it by not increasing production to meet demands.

But there's plenty of ammo on the internet.

I just bought 500 rounds of 12 ga. for less than I ever paid at Wally World, with shipping. $12.00 per box @ Wal Mart vs. $8.00 a box on the internet. And I bought Federal Ammo, not the Winchester that Wal Mart sells.

Damn, I thought it was just hard to find ammo around here, didn't know it was a problem elsewhere. I haven't heard of any waiting lists around here, although I'm sure there are some.

Might the wars have something to do with it?

I've not seen a sign of an ammo shortage up here, but I've not shopped for more than slugs and target shot and that was over a year ago.

There is no ammo shortage. I was thinking some of these guys were just messing around by suggesting it. Your response makes me think that you people may actually believe that it's possible, that in the 21st century, manufacturers of weaponry and ammunition would not have shitloads of their product lying around. I'm nearly positive it is a regulation thing. I'm not real concerned about it.

No, there is a fucking shortage, dumbass. It has nothing to do with regulations. Nothing has changed on that aspect. It's the fears that the current administration could create stricter gun laws. So everyone is buying and stocking up and the manufacturers can't keep up with demand.

Calm down there, junior. You've been wound up pretty tight lately. Possibly, there's a hair crossed up in yer ass?

Also: There's no ammo shortage. :D

The new Shotgun has been modified...

New muzzle break, combo tac light/laser, vertical foregrip, tri-rail forend, 20 rnd drum, pistol grip, fire control group, hammer spring, receiver block, stock and gas valve.

I had to move the trigger forward to install the pistol grip and install the receiver block so the new stock could be attached.

It was quite a learning experience doing all of the mods myself. You really get to know the gun.

The laser is built into the tac-Light on the front of the gun. The forend light has 3 settings. Light only, Laser only or Light/Laser.
