PC turned off out of the blue and won't start again.
Power light on PC is on. Monitor still works but but doesn't detect signal.
No BIOS screen.
No beep error codes.
Any ideas?

Do you have a multimeter?
power the computer on as per normal, and test the 12V ( yellow ) and 5V ( red ) rails ( Use one of the mulex connectors )
i would bet that its the PSU.

Tested the Power supply but it was actually the CPU. The CPU fan was totally full of dust and didn't spin anymore, which had caused the CPU to overheat. Not sure why it didn't start even after having cooled down though. Anyways.

That was going to be my guess before I got to the post where you figured it out. A dead CPU will give you no response whatsoever on screen. Nor any beeps.

Maybe the threshold was set to high in the BIOS. The ASUS mb I just bought had the CPU core voltage set way to high by default. Sometimes they don't set shit right it seems.

King, is the cpu actually dead? or was it shutting off due to heat?
