Same old routine, ad nauseum. At least you're consistent.

Yes and no - I have the .25 at my disposal and will be using that while I look around. I have a friend who had a Glock 23 he wants to sell me, but I haven't called him about it yet and think it is still more than I want to spend. What would be a decent price for a used one of those you think? I see them online for around $440 or so. I just don't really want to drop that much money on something that I won't be using that often - if I was planning on doing a lot of recreational shooting or something, I could definitely see the cost being warranted - the guns aren't overpriced, just a bit more than I feel like shelling out at the moment with all the other directions money is flowing in (completely redoing the backyard, still finishing the basement (project was put on hiatus for a long while for medical reasons and that I am finally getting back into), my wife wants me to buy my old 2002 Impreza back from my brother for her, etc etc etc...

So...yea, in the interim I have a pistol to use, even if it is a diminutive one it allows me to be deliberate in looking for a good deal.

Yeah, I get ya. It sounds like you've got a lot more things to think about first.

You should be able to get a new Glock for around $525.00. So you're going to have to decide how much you're willing to spend on a used one. Your decision should be based on how often it was used and how well it was kept. But when you really get ready to make a purchase, check out Gunbroker.com. If you follow the auctions on that site long enough, you'll come away with a kick ass deal.

Range day Sunday...

A few of my friends and I went to the range and had a great time killing paper. Afterwards was lunch and a few beers at Fridays. Fun stuff. :D

Image
We ate up 75 rounds of 12 ga. pretty quick with my new toy. I should have brought a few more boxes of shells.

Image
Not much target left after you let loose with 20 rounds of semi-auto fury.

Image
We also spent some time on the rifle range poking holes at 100 yards. Though it wasn't nearly as fun as the new shotty.
