Wow, looking into windows 7 for the first time, I can pre-order windows 7 Premium for £64.98 from amazon or £65.99 from OCuk. I was expecting to have to pay at LEAST £150 for the most basic version. Apparently people in the states will have to pay double according to http://www.geeks.co.uk/5645-windows-7-i ... uite-cheap
I'm only thinking of upgrading OS because I've today discovered I'll need a 64 bit to run more than 4GB of RAM should the need arise, so might as well go windows 7. For those that have tested the beta, is it good? Much better than XP?
Windows 7 is cheap
