It's confirmed... a new version of the PS3 is coming in 120 and 250GB versions.

They are obviously going for the cheap route judging by the design. Textured ABS plastic like that has all the charm of a VHS cassette.

They did remove a few features like backwards compatibility (did that ever really work?) and the ability to install 3rd party OSes on it.

It's a small thing, but I like that they're adding Bravia Sync in the update; that means I can use my telly remote to control the PS3

IMO... I dunno, don't like it. I think my original fat PS3 looks more expensive, this, it just looks cheap to me...
Did anybody see the PS3 firmware 3.0 list? Its like how much can they rip off the 360 before somebody sues, even the top right info thing is the same lol. Still, fair play to them for trying to add more to it, just a shame theres no cross game chat still.

I like it. I didn't like the original; I didn't like the shape and the glossy fingerprint magnet finish.
