Canadians and Brits have alot of similarities but your end of the pond probably wouldn't understand being rabid about hockey as people on our end wouldn't embrace footy as you do. The south of France is great, that's where I'd move if I had to move anywhere. You have to know the language though, which I regret never having learned.

Norway is way too expensive and the food is rather crap. They are the world's largest consumers of frozen pizza. The nature is great, but it's more suitable for a vacation than a permanent move.

Spain is nice, especially around Barcelona. The center of Madrid is ok, but the surroundings are pure shit, an industrial desert with shitty suburbs, highways and powerlines criss-crossing a huge, dirty and desolate valley. Unbearably hot in the summer and freezing with dirty snow in the winter.

I've never said Vancouver is the gun-crime capital of North America, but it is the worst in Canada over the past couple of years. That's primarily due to targetted gang on gang violence though rather than random crime. Street violence is a growing problem as well but doesn't usually involve guns and almost all of it has roots in addiction and poverty.

Terrorism isn't an issue I can ever recall discussing on this forum in regards to my home province. Its pretty much a non-issue here.

As for gun ownership, I advocate responsible ownership and use for hunting and sport shooting purposes, not every citizen being able to pack one around for something to do. That all clear enough for you? If you want to debate a specific point, fine, but get your facts and quotes straight instead of misquoting me because we don't always see eye to eye.

Greece is by far the best country to live in. The citizens are the most polticially minded people in the world, so ignorance is low.
There are no bull shit laws in Greece, you can smoke anywhere you want, drink any age, drive at any speed you in most parts of the country. Work is from 9 AM to 2 PM, then where you go home and sleep then go out and party at night. Saturday nights in western society is every night in Greece.
There is no metrosexualism there either, identity crisis etc, other forms of western social degeneration behaviour.
There is no plastic gangster bull shit there either.
The society is very free and do not allow tyranny from the Government.
Last year a Police officer killed a citizen. The citizens responded back by showing who owns the country.

See, that is the mentality of western society... "no one gets any work done"... In Greece, life is not about working; its about enjoying it, where as western societies idea of life is money, which is why its such a boring place to live. Work work work work work work, and more work!
