So recently It's been hella fun to get really high and drink a Monster at work. Then my friend told me that he knew someone that now has to pee through a tube because he drank a Monster a day for 2 years.
Is that true? Does anyone know exactly how bad the shit really is for you? Is one or two per week really that bad?

I've tried one a while ago but i had to get rid of the can halfway, on the account of it having more sugar in it than i previously thought was possible to dissolve in water.

Consuming large amounts in short periods is where the danger lies. I also like how the part about smoking weed and drinking monster everyday that you're worried about is the legal energy drink

When I have to work the graveyard shift, Monster helps me adjust to the lag. Maybe I should try some sort of tea instead? Anyone know what kind of tea will give a quick boost?

None of the energy drinks are good for you.
There are some data suggesting that taurine is good for your liver, but the amount you get by drinking a can daily is far more than is probably beneficial for you.
Caffeine also increases diuresis, so excessive amounts of it can be hard on your kidneys. I can imagine a scenario where someone drinks it every day and it wreaks havoc on their urinary system...
but I'm gonna guess that story isn't true.

33cl can usually contains as much caffeine as a regular coffee iirc? But ofc the sugar etc..
Can't dig the taste either, prefer a coffee. Although those monsters are better tasting then the cheaper ones.. I still haven't finished one of those beastly 0.5l cans.

I read that it didn't really make you urinate more, just more often. There's a lot of mininformation about energy drinks - someone tried to tell me that redbull has bull urine in it. I'm guessing they thought that taurine was bull urine.
Caffeine is a mild diuretic, but I think the bigger issue with the monsters every single day is the sugar spike and the potential development of adult onset diabetes.

An increase in urine volume was seen only at the 360-mg dose of caffeine. One limitation to these studies is that they did not evaluate the impact of caffeine when consumed on a regular basis. Subsequent studies have shown that caffeine-containing beverages did not impact urinary output any differently than other beverages. If you have urinary incontinence, you may experience a greater "urgency" to urinate after consuming a caffeinated beverage. You will need to monitor your reaction and tolerance to caffeine to determine how you are affected. Water is still the recommended choice for optimal hydration, so be sure to include it as part of your daily fluid consumption."
The biochemical mixing pot in our bodies is so complex that you can find a connection between almost any chemical and any disease at some level, though.
