Some people are confusing "moral" or "ethical" with "legal".
Facebook (as well as CNN.com and a billion other sites) do indeed "own" the content of their sites but there's no law stating people cannot link to them. If it's public it's public, no matter how much you don't like people linking to it.
With regards to copyright images, if you alter them in Photoshop you're asking for trouble. Public domain images and non-copyright works (such as Everyday Joe's photo collection) have no protections. However, if Everyday Joe did copyright them, then they're protected.
Like porn links and images, just make the forum rules include no links to Facebook content and be done with it. Otherwise STFU.

drama is over. there will be no divulging of members personal info and family unless posted by that member. don't link photos or profiles of any members family you're currently inter-stalking.
and lol @ fender dialing lawyers for a c&d if a copyrighted family pic from his flickr is posted. is that you rep? you going to have us shut down? christ
To clarify, there's little wrong with, for example, posting a public profile pic off facebook (specially if it shows off someones man boobs) however, searching through that persons 'friends' list and posting their information, including names and photos is off limits.
Don't get me wrong, I like the way our members often push the limits as it leads to much comedy, however this is where the line is being drawn on this subject.
