He doesn't look like a cheery man. He may not be particularly fond of the common folk either. Should be interesting.

I'm paraphrasing from memory here, but Ratzinger said that Catholicism is in competition with Islam for recruits. While Arinze sees a friendly relationship between the two religions, he grew up around muslims in his native african country (not sure which one).
