I happened to find this tune while looking for another Limewax tune
Took me a while to realise what the Q3 announcer sample was saying was "Stripe!"

Shame they changed the announcer for Quake Live, it's nothing like the quality of the Q3 one. I don't like the Quake Live one at all; his voice sounds all croaky and frog-like . (Also, they don't even announce the bots in Quake Live.)

I agree on the QL announcer, i mentioned something about it before. I especially miss the 'robotic' effect when grabbing quad or regeneration.

ah, i installed it once, never had any problems. Stream worked fine for me as well i must say. Why is it so bad?

I also couldn't find any Q3 samples in there except for the announcer's voice.

I really liked the "sound/feedback/hit.wav" sound used in the drumbeat. Other than that, it's a pretty basic sounding song...nothing flashy. I used to do shit with dance partys "raves" when I was younger, I always love a good headache. If you wanna hear better stuff you guys should check out this link:

You can download mp3's of electronic(techno..whatever they call it these days) music from there, some of it's really good and a good amount of it sucks. Pretty tripped out..and such.

Yes, awesome games..

There are also videos with commentary and such available btw.

I can imagine some people don't care for commentary and just want demos, but it was quite decent how all the games we're live on stream and pretty much on schedule. (Still, they should just add GTV)
