Now TV Lock N Load SuperCap Tournament

Hey,

I was wondering if anyone has heard of this? It was a show i watched many years ago now on some obscure channel called "now".

It was a show featuring quake 3 matches for a tournament called "SuperCap" with commentary, Stevie Case was one of the presenters. They played on this great ctf map called "The Last Post" with the infamous "Death Jump". Just google "nowctf1" for the map.

I wouldnt mind watching this again but i cant find anything about it know, does anyone know anything about this?

I watched it sometime around 2003, i cant really say where the show was from, maybe UK - from the majority of accents, and the channel itself is a Hong Kong pay tv channel, which somehow was being broadcast for free over my local cable.

They used to have a website for it and everything, but it seems the channel changed ownership or something and deleted everything.

It was a 4v4 or 5v5 CTF on that one map, i think one of the clans was called "The Vicious Fruit Clan".

EDIT: Heh, i found some old websites with clan lists, and i recognised some names from the show such as;

"New European Order"
"The Suicide Squad"
"Cicatrix"

Everything seems dead now though.

Rofl its real i swear, and it was awesome. Do you even know who Stevie Case is?

Its old though and the TV channel was totally redone no backups/archive.
