Maps vanishing off the skirmish menu

Apparently Q3 has a limit to the maps it can display. Unacceptable. I need a fix. I play Elite Force and it doesn't do this. I don't need or want more Q3 installs to take up harddrive space, let alone that I couldn't remember which install had which maps. I hate the naming (somethingdm#) because you can't bloody remember them unless they show up in the skirmish menu. Heck, I'll say it again: I require a bloody fix.

DeFrag's tricks menu shows ALL maps, but they don't come up in the VQ3 or CPM menus... none at all. What is the error?

A hard-coded limit in VQ3 and a custom UI in Defrag. Though 'error' is putting it a little strong. UI Enhanced might be your thing.

Nope. It's easily fixable but you'd never see the change when running in pure mode.

Not at all what I meant. Defrag has three menus: VQ3, CPM and tricks. Every single map shows up in the tricks menu but none show up in VQ3 or CPM menus.

Well, I can't get http://www.quakeunity.com to load at all. I Yahoo'd quake 3 UI Enhanced and got q3arena.com, but the file was uploaded back in 2001 and I thought there might be something newer.
