Got the desktop back today, it works great. the guy said everything he did to make it work and i'm standing there like 'wow'. Everything he said is something that I have never even heard before so it was well worth the money.

I think it found it's way back onto the laptop (xp). Plugged in the video camera, then 30 seconds later BAM... security center popups which was the virus lol

time to reformat that beotch again

I've plugged it into the desktop before and it doesn't affect windows 7 so that's good news.
