Expensive is relative. It's no more noisy than any other SUV. It gets a MPG comparable to most SUVs. I've owned a Nissan 4wd PU, Isuzu Rodeo, Eddie Bauer Ford Explorer, XLT Ford Explorer and it rides just as good or better than all of those.
