Still waiting on the mail. This is the first and last time I pre-order shit from Game Stop. I did the pre-order to get the Beta key. I figured they would at least send the game out in time to arrive on the day of or after release. This is bullshit... Fuck you Game Stop, fuck you right in the ass.

Seems like the humor aspect has been toned down a bit in Battlefiled BC 2 from what I've seen thus far. I hope it picks up a bit later on - that was a draw with the first one and I think its something this game needs. To those of you who are further along, does humor play a part in the writing later on?
Yea, I've been laughing my ass off. After you get out of Japan you actually take control of Bad Company from then on out.
There is lots of "Sweet jesus you crazy fucking liberal hippy", "lets go un-fuck this situation", and commentary on their favorite scenes from Predator.
The sound quality has me more impressed than the graphics to be honest. The guns are all very distinctive and change dramatically within the environment. The way they squeeze in all the sounds during a battle is intense.
Ha, best part was when the colonel was debriefing them for the arctic mission and Flynn said "Fuck spec ops, they'll just send a couple of assholes with pussy-ass heartbeat monitors on their guns!"
Finally got the damn thing working. Don't know if it was EA sorting their shit out or a firewall setting that I changed, but MP works now and it's pure fucking ownage.
Far less than you might think, Memph. I railed against it for a day or so (don't do the Online Authentication), but once I got it working it was well worth it.
Just finished the SP. The game was fantastic, but the ending was a little corny and obviously leaving the door wide open for BC3.
I'd have to say that the graphics are on par with CoD4/MW2, but not a huge leap over and above. The mist and smoke effects got pretty annoying at times and seemed to be almost a bit of a cheat to avoid rendering longer distances. The sound really is badass, though. I spent as much of the latter half of the game as I could capping enemies with the M95. Had the volume and the bass cranked way up, BOOM! Good stuff.

Actually I felt like the SP sets the stage for MP. Since all the MP maps are about US versus Russia.
i'm surprised it even has a single player campaign... can't remember any other BF games had that, was all about the multiplayer carnage
Anyways, i looked at some vids and i must say it all looks very pretty... i shall get when it comes down in price, i ain't paying near 60 euro's for it, that's ridiculous.
There aren't any BF games for PC that had single player. Also, I thought that single player in bc2 was just as boring as bc1. I got so tired at the end I just ran through the last 3 levels only shooting the chumps in my way. Took like 10 minutes.
