Texture communities/forums

Post by Infernis »

Does anyone know if there is a community of texture artists? Similiar to this site for mapping, or Polycount for modelling?

I know Evillair had a forum site a few years back, but that closed down. I always enjoy looking at people there work and even though you can find lots of stuff, texturing always seem to be in the corner.

Thanks in advance.

@monaster, thats me, pimpin my stuff! Otherwise no one would download my Q3 stuff and enjoy my crafty puzzle/explore thingy. :paranoid: I have been busy the last week pushing that map all over the place, no other choice, most Q3 news related sites are either really small or have gone.

I was just going to suggest uploading moteof on lvlworld, but then realised it's already in the map queue - and reviewed too! I believe that map could turn out as one of the most favourite maps on lvlworld of all times (at least I'd like to see it that way), and this site will surely contribute much to its fame since it is "quite" big compared to other q3 related sites unfortunately having very little traffic or being gone as you've stated above. Sorry for hijacking your thread infernis!

you could of course use the q3 source to ship it as a standalone game
