I had Diesel cut too. I'm sorry I had it done, after seeing how he turned out I should have waited and bred him at least once before doing the deed

ive not had any males, never used to want one but i do now. I heard cutting can lead to problems ?

i know with the bitches, they are a right pain in the arse for womb infections whatever there age, so everytime i do get one the vets want to spay her straight away. The Bitches when ive had them done (from infection) end up turning fat and sleeping all day, not that i mind that, but they didnt seem better off for it

Have had no problems because of the cut he is very active dog, always on the lookout for victims and gives chase when said victim flees. Exceptional home security system and is protective of grand kids and me.

If that dog weighs 170lbs then I'm Santa Claus. Pretty dog, I just doubt he's that big.

Yes, I used to have a Rottie, too.

I don't like cutting the balls off. I've had male dogs that have been cut and some that haven't, and it always seeks like they lose part of their character when you cut. Some will also act like a puppy their entire lives, which may seem alright, but I like them to mature and have that aged character...

Unless you have pix of him on the scale I don't believe it. Nothing against you personally, I've just seen countless Rottweiler owners massively overestimate their dog's size. He looks to be about 120lbs, from the pic anyway.

I had to put my buddy down in 2007, he was 11&1/2 and in very bad shape. Arthritic hips and back, some sort of cancer in his leg, he was in a lot of pain. Shit day that was... :tear:

Next visit to the vet I Will post pics.*he really does weigh 170*. I had to put down Rom *previous* Rott for very same reasons. He was ten years old. I hope Diesel makes it past the ten year mark.

No offense taken not to worry. Only reason I know his weight is last time I was at vet they suggested I cut his weight to 160 because of arthritis fears.

Broke my heart to lose Rom so know what you went thru. Sorry for the loss :(
