But are you really going to buy one of the cars in this thread?
Yes. Most likely in the next couple of weeks.

The majority here seem to like the least likely candidate, Audi A5. I think it's a sharp looking car, but the "coupe" style isn't very practical when it comes to a family vehicle.

Don't know about the US but Audi servicing in the UK is fucking awful and I had wiring loom issues on mine.

Merk I wouldn't touch with yours, just check the internets for horror stories.

X3, fucking lol.

Take a 330d or 335d for a test drive and see what you think. The 328i is under powered.

After the tax credit and factoring in fuel savings you could get:

http://www.teslamotors.com/models/

I'm going to try to make it my next ride after the Z. I'd say theres about one or two car loans left worth of reasonable gas prices so why not get a head start on it before you're stuck with a used car worth even less than the fuckall they go for now.

a 335d costs almost $11k more than a 328i in the US.

Figures that gwamps is the kind of idiot who wouldn't buy a car made in the country that he lives in.

You know, the country that's having problems with their economy and needs to sell things to recover.

That, to be honest, is the most bloody stupid reason to choose one car over the other.

They're all pretty solid from what I've read (about the bottom three), can't really go wrong.

If you morons are going to troll him do it in the gun thread...he actually posted up some decent cars and you're just trolling for fucks and shits.

Well, your list is sort of all over the place. So with no other criteria than price, I have to go with the A5.
It's the best looking, handles well, quattro rocks balls (but it's probably not an issue in FL), and that interior is fantastic.

The others?
X3 - Ugly as sin, as from what I've heard it's a complete joke.
GLK - eh... I don't really have an opinion. I don't care for SUVs and Merc has some pretty poor reliability issues lately.
Q5 - Looks decent, but a bit overpriced, iirc. $5-6k more than an A4 Avant and all you really get is a bit more headroom.
A5 - see above
C350 - Never been in nor driven one. Probably a very good car. I think it's ugly. Your results may vary.
328 - A close second to the A5. BMWs are generally overpriced compared to Audis, but still good cars. I'd seriously suggest test driving this and the A5 and then decide whether you still like those SUVs/crossovers.

But really, asking for car advice is going to require a bit more info about what sort of vehicle you want. Buy based on the best choice for you.
Do you want a crossover w/ towing capacity? A wagon with good handling? A coupe that looks nice? There are plenty of other cars out there. Don't just pick based on looks.
