Why not? This place has quite a diverse group of people. I figured at least a few of them would have something constructive to offer.

No, I'm not a big TV watcher. But I have watched the show once or twice.

You can't blame people for being cynical. The last time you posted a thread about sedans, you went to test drive some, then came home with a Hummer.

It seems like you're at risk for doing that again, because you haven't really decided, functionally, what you want out of your next vehicle.

Start off with exactly what you want out of it -- well before you do any test driving. Otherwise, you've put yourself in the perfect situation to talk yourself into something you don't need.

We're most likely going to get a "cross-over" or another SUV. But if the sedans/coupes fit the bill, we'll surely entertain that prospect.

In other words you already know what you want to get you just needed to wave your dick around Q3W first.

On a related note, I just bought a 330xd coupe a month ago and I fucking love it. (Was considering between three specific cars: an 335i, an S5 and that, ended with the 330xd because the 335i was RWD and the S5 was a bit more expensive than I originally set out for.)

And idd, work out what you bloody want in a car. A two-seater coupe is pretty much the opposite of an SUV.

Oh, and Q5 and X3 are wank, cars in-between that don't work either as SUVs or sporty cars. Q7 or X5 is the way to go if you want a nippy SUV.

Not exactly... I know what I like, and I'm seriously considering all of the vehicles listed. I was looking for some honest input or personal experiences to assist with my decision making. Sorry you couldn't help.

Fuck sake gwamps, just go buy what you want and what you can afford. Why do you need to ask a group of people on the internet what you should buy? Especially a group that pokes fun at you on a daily basis and who in the past has razzed you for what you drive...

BMW SUVs are a sad joke. X3, X5, X6, they all suck when it comes to anything other than being a tall, wide, sports sedan.

The way you wrote that, one might think you are suggesting that I’m asking for approval or permission from forum members. I can assure that I'm not. I also cannot help that some members choose to participate in a negative fashion. I will ultimately buy what I want and can afford. In the interim, I will continue to collect information that will help me decide what I want.

Agree on X3 and X6, do not agree on X5. Sure, the X5 is not built for driving around on the moon, but it's a spacious car with a high clearance that goes pretty quick from 0-100. The X6 and X3 definitely fail on the spacious part and kind of fail on the clearance part, IIRC. My uncle has an X5 and I've driven it around a few times, it's not a bad car for urban driving or even going off the asfalt, provided you don't do anything too extreme. (Where I live, there are huge forests with dirt paths you can drive around in, the X5 works very nice for those)

You've posted a picture of me with something similar in the caption, it's not hard to figure out. Maybe you should focus your anger on the doctors or your parents.
