Agree on X3 and X6, do not agree on X5. Sure, the X5 is not built for driving around on the moon, but it's a spacious car with a high clearance that goes pretty quick from 0-100. The X6 and X3 definitely fail on the spacious part and kind of fail on the clearance part, IIRC. My uncle has an X5 and I've driven it around a few times, it's not a bad car for urban driving or even going off the asfalt, provided you don't do anything too extreme. (Where I live, there are huge forests with dirt paths you can drive around in, the X5 works very nice for those)
The X5 has less ground clearance than a Subaru Forrester, IIRC. It's a nice looking rig, and I'm sure it will get out of its own way with no problems, but I just think it fails overall, like the 3 and the 6. For my money (lol, not that I fucking have any :olo: ), there are much better choices for a luxury SUV. Range Rover comes to mind...

So the overwhelming response from the forum seems to be the A5.

Is that gonna affect your decision in any way?

I haven't made a decision yet. But the information provided here will be considered along with other sources. I may or may not go looking this weekend. I turn the big 4 0 this weekend, so their may be too much partying going on to car shop.

How would you figure? I could understand if it was a sports car. But I'm buying a family car that the the wife will drive on a daily basis.

Not exactly... I know what I like, and I'm seriously considering all of the vehicles listed. I was looking for some honest input or personal experiences to assist with my decision making. Sorry you couldn't help.

I'm going to try to make it my next ride after the Z. I'd say theres about one or two car loans left worth of reasonable gas prices so why not get a head start on it before you're stuck with a used car worth even less than the fuckall they go for now.

the diesel isn't available in the US. :disgust:

Nor is the A5 Sportback.
Nor is the RS5.

And while I'm on the subject, nor are the A1, S4 Avant, A4 Allroad, S6 Avant, RS6, S3, and TTRS.
Want a diesel Audi? You have to buy a Q7 or A3. Those are your only choices.

Do any of those options have a glove compartment specifically designed for your handcannon? If so, I'd say that's decision made
