My GE Fridge is shooting water out when I remove my water fi

I had a fridge that had leaked water when a valve in the freezer for the ice maker stopped working. By removing the filter, the water stopped coming out of the ice maker. After having that repaired and a new filter placed, I went on a business trip and wanted to turn the water off on the fridge. I went to turn the filter (I thought this would shut the water off for the rest of the fridge like before) and water came shooting down! I tried to put the filter back on and it wouldn't tighten back on enough to stop the water. I had to to turn the entire house's water off! Please help!!???

I've been dealing with a nasty pilonidal abscess just above my buttcrack. After several days of excruciating pain and reduced mobility, I had to have it lanced at a hospital's urgent care clinic today. With no anesthetic and ineffective freezing, it was quite possibly the worst pain I've ever felt. The doctor stabbed me with a needle at least half a dozen times and drained enough disgusting pus and blood to fill a small jar, then filled the hole with packing. I'm on cephalexin (keflex) and need the packing replaced every two days for a couple weeks until the pilonidal cavity is ready for surgery. Driving home was no easy task either.

So please share your current painful stories so I can feel better about mine
