Only because the dialogues are pure poetry
Stick with it, after a couple of episodes you get used to the way they speak. And Swearengen (sp?) is just about the coolest character in any tv show ever

onto episode 7 now, i've overcome the dialogue barrier and have come to the conclusion this is most excellent. Good recommendation
