I've got a WD external HDD I'm using to back up my files.
When I was running Vista, I just had Windows back up the files for me. Now that I'm on Win7 I need to set up the backup again...
Two questions:
1) Anyone have any opinion if I should keep using Window's backup versus switching to the software that WD supplies?
2) Is it going to re-write all the data that's already backed up on the HDD, or will it register that those files have been archived from a previous OS?
backup: windows vs. WD programs?

Fuck everything WD make that's not a simple hard drive.
Their ability to craft software is terrible. Keep using Windows Backup
