This code...
I was playing quake3 and someone told me to type in /exec z in the console and as a dumbass/curious dude i am, i type it in. I dont know what it did. Can someone PLEASE tell me?
Re: This code...
It's reformatting your hard drive.
Or it's configuring your player configuration to one that came with q3. Named z(look in pak0.pk3)
going:
/exec default should restore it to factory settings, you would have to reconfigure. it though.

Re: This code...
it doesnt get more simple than that actually.
its executing a script named 'z' which tells quake3 to set everything to someone else's preferences.
it's a bit of leftover content that the developers used.
theres a few more scriptnames like that, i think /exec zen works as well.

Point is, if you don't notice anything bad then nothing is wrong and you can leave it as it is.
If some settings seem funny with your graphics or controls, you can restore everything back to default with /exec default

Re: This code...
Go into your Quake III Arena/baseq3 folder and remove your "q3config.cfg" in there. Start from the beginning ... this is going to be your best solution.
