At least ghana had chances to put things right but they blew it. Worse was england actually getting a goal and it being disallowed.

For today, go Argentina and go Paraguay :!:

If the dutchees beat Uruguay this tuesday, I'd rather see one of them as their final opponent than Germany or Spain.

SCHLAAAAAND, SCHLAAAAAND, SCHLAAAAND, SCHLAAAAAAAAAND!

Amazing game:

first fifteen minutes: totally dominated by the german team
rest of the first half: no game by argentinia
beginning of the second half: strong game by argentinia. if they had scored at this point, it could have turned out different
BUT THEN: Germany totally crushed maradona's team.
the best goal was Friedrichs, when Schweinsteiger just made his way to the goal.

Best game in the world cup so far.

Oh i dunno, I still liked the Holland one :D, twas a very good game though  tevez was a monster

ze Germans are playing rather well, all over, think they could run into problems when they go against a good defence but they made themselves one of the favourites, bastards... I want Ozil to come to the prem

There's still Spain (or Paraguay?) to beat. Last time they won the Europe Cup against us.

Holland will win the WC - they were my tip at the start and still remain the favourites in my eyes

Its going to be epic (Germany / Holland), when is it though ?, the 2 days without any world cup action nearly killed me

edit - Im still tipping Spain and have been since before the start :] , but if they both got into the final you might catch me dressed in orange

well colour me surprised. i was convinced germany were looking as good as they have so far because of the shitty opposition they've faced, and that argentina would school them, but no...

i fancy them to win the whole thing now. at the very least they'll make it past spain to the final

Germany 4 - England 1 (2)
Germany 4 - Argentina 0

Therefore England > Argentina (lol Falklands).

Should be a relatively easy win, seeing as they miss some key players (like Suarez, yay!) :)

We miss de Jong on the back-midfield who tears up attacks before they get close together with van Bommel and we also miss van der Wiel in the defence - so i'm kinda curious to see how we will hold up in that regard. Who the hell replaces de Jong anyway..? Boula? De Zeeuw?

lets see how well Uruguay keep Schnider and Robben quiet. If they do that they have a chance

With all the upsets so far in this world cup, there's still no guarantee that germany will even get to the final.
There's a very good chance that spain will knock them out tomorrow.

Khalid Boulahrouz and Demy de Zeeuw replace de Jong and van der Wiel.

Uruguay may miss Suarez, they still have Diego Forlàn who's a really dangerous striker. I do think, however, that if the orange squad can pin him down and effectively disable him, then Uruguay misses it's most dangerous aspect. Especially the combination of Suarez and Forlàn was lethal.
