Robben is historically the biggest cheat I've seen alongside Ronaldo

He gets cut down because defenders cannot afford to give him any space. Seriously, nearly every foul on him is real.

I usually qualify how much of a bitch I think he is by first saying how good a player I think he is, he's a brilliant player. It's the overacting when he's fouled (be that a real foul or when he throws himself to the ground, and that scream today, what was that?*) that bugs me. It's endemic of course, and that bothers me, he just hams it up more than most. I'm not sure about nearly every foul being enough to actually take him down/obstruct him, though maybe more than half.

It's a part of the game in general I detest though, the falling over from the slightest tough that's actually come to redefine what a "foul" is.


*Though it was a foul, I'll admit :P

Not really sportsmanship like, but for the sake of the dutchees I can only hope Spain plays really hard and dirty, and does major damage to Klose, Podolski and Schweinsteiger

Edit: Many were network broadcast, and most of the other final 16. I guess they just figure no one cares, better to run soap operas
