Never been able to create a top 5 list. Need new albums constantly. Old stuff gets stale fast.

  • Nine Inch Nails - The Fragile (or Downward Spiral, but The Fragile has twice the number of tracks).
  • Rage Against the Machine - Evil Empire
I'm completely undecided about the other 3.

Their later stuff has been a bit more simplistic and hit & miss, and the stories they tell have been nowhere near as detailed, but I still love 'em to death. Bucketfuls of Sickness and Horror in an Otherwise Meaningless Life is also utterly fantastic, but not quite up there with Mule and Suicides.
They sing the sounds reverberating in Travis Bickle's mind.

There are many others, those stuck out in my mind as probably the most I've listened to over time.
