is this alot?bitWISE wrote:Jesus christxer0s wrote:I don't think I could do the 500MB package. Here's my data usage...
I use GIGS monthly on 2 lines. (Work phone/personal) But im also using pandora in my car, work, etc. 500 megs is nothing.
Our Verizon account is 5 lines, 1 DX 4 Eris, 2100 min text/data
After tax its about 300 or so.
Our iPhones cost us a giant 60 a month, unlimited data/text + 1000 min on 1 line 500 on the other. the 700 min plan we'd need would cost us 160 if it wasnt employee priced.
SO i guess 360 per month
Re: Your cell provider, monthly services and amounts please
lol, $360/mo on a call plan, happy times for verizon
Re: Your cell provider, monthly services and amounts please
200mb in 2 days with Pandora in car.
Re: Your cell provider, monthly services and amounts please
Yeah, I don't use Pandora, but I can see how it'd be easy to rack up a lot of data...

Yarp. Thats also like 7 lines btw. All of which are PDAs with unlimited data plans. I should of mentioned, we have 2 att phones as well. Its only a small portion because its employee lines, but still its a few bucks at least.Scarface wrote:lol, $360/mo on a call plan, happy times for verizon

Sprint
2 android phones
1500 shared min
free roaming
free mobile to mobile
unlimited data
unlimited text
$148/mo after fees and taxes
$109/mo after my company discount
(same plan as NS only I get it cheaper thanks to my corporate overlords)
i just checked out of curiosity... on this billing month (since 8/19) my wife has only used 25 MB of data... i've done 254 MB.
so yeah, you probably can live happily with 500MB/mo as long as you stay away from last.fm and pandora when not near a wifi point

Re: Your cell provider, monthly services and amounts please
who the fuck has time to use 500mb of data on a fucking phone.
Re: Your cell provider, monthly services and amounts please
I guess if you're streaming a lot of audio like that it would eat up data. Why not just put some mp3s on shuffle?
Re: Your cell provider, monthly services and amounts please
because its free? albums are not, its also a great way to find new music that you like.
