funny thread, but yeah... new ppl will come when there is something for them to find/use... dont get me wrong, you guys are funny as hell, but really its just a good read and not something that a noob (like me) can get involved in as i/we dont know all the quirks etc that have developed over the last however many years. just keep on keepin on i say. but the level editing forum is fantastic as a q3 mapper. very helpful regulars etc and i assume the other sections coding etc also fulfill a role but general diss is just that, general diss

You may just have a greater frequency of posts made on a unified sub-forum but with the exact same people posting.

That's the intention, hence the thread title. And when there are more posts in the main forum it generates more posts from the regulars, so you end up with more activity than just a combined post tally from multiple forums.

By "regulars", do you specifically mean you and Doombrain so the two of you can continue flinging shit at each other like you did in the previous 2 pages as well as every other thread in the Void?

I think the sum total number of threads would be the same in both cases, just those who would rather skip the flames can just poke in GD and skip the void. Personally, I think we need some new blood and some new things to talk about. The last time we consolidated forums, it was to get rid of some of the really quiet forums and hope that there would be some more activity. We have less empty forums sections, but we haven't gotten any more activity.
