Does anybody else find it ironic that his map is way too dark?Dessicated corpse wrote: I hate the old sky, it's way too bright.
What one can do is use Dropbox as a host for his or her website. He or she will be able to make a link as soon as the .html (and images and other goodies) upload. Then, using a free domain, one can make his or her site relatively easy to share. Using a free domain such as .co.nr or .tk is simple, and all it takes is to copy the public link of the .html and have the free domain direct to it. fKd could probably get "fKd.tk" as his website name. Drop box has a 2 GB limit (more if you invite people), so that likely won't be a problem. If it does start to be a problem, then one can open another file uploading account (such as photobucket for images, and filefront (or another preferred file sharing site) for larger, non-image files) to alleviate the space on dropbox.cityy wrote:fkd, I'd recommend you not to go for a free host. You will always be restricted in your possibilities. Getting your own domain isn't expensive at all anyway.
It's my first map. And pretty much my only. When I add lights it makes the textures look yucky and makes them lose their color.Silicone_Milk wrote:Does anybody else find it ironic that his map is way too dark?Dessicated corpse wrote: I hate the old sky, it's way too bright.
I liked the black sky better. Of course I'm new.fKd wrote:maybe his monitor is really bright? lol hes new, im sure he will learn
and on that, MAP SUBMITTED! hahahah
if only i had a beer here to celebrate...
gg all you have all been added to the readme for all this great feedback, minus Dessicated corpse... fu*jokes
I know, Dessicated Corpse, I just found it funny that you have a tendency to make dark maps and dislike bright mapsDessicated corpse wrote:

...And if you stick with it you'll get better. People use to do the same to me when I first started mapping. It's tough at first and very few people stick around the mapping scene after their first map. Take whatever you think/or feel is negative and turn it positive. I don't know how many comments I thought was negative from veterans before I turned it around for the good.monaster wrote:Yep, no offence, pun or dark humour intended. Very cool! I'm looking forward to the review...Anthem wrote:I will get to this and pukkatourney before the next lvlworld update if nobody else does. I had my hands full this time (I reviewed 3 maps, the third will be released next time).
