I took ED-E to the Gibson Scrap Yard - but I did the quest very late in the game - and nothing happened - following the quest marker led me to the lady, but there was no dialogue related to ED-E.

After i spoke to her, ED-E played a recorded message, Then i had to seek out other players at Camp Forlorn Hope ( 5 in-game days later ) Then two in games days later ed-e stole my attention ( kinda annoying ) and a brotherhood of steel rep was talking and a Follower of the appocalipse should have cut him off part way though and made a counter offer, but that never happened.

Is anyone else working for the Legion? I find it to be more fun than when I helped the NCR...

Except it's hard to go anywhere without getting shot at. Crimson Caravan now seems to hate me...

I have a problem. I'm seriously addicted to this game. I can't go a day without playing at least a couple hours. I need help.

The Dead Money add-on is really fun. You're forced to bring out your inner scavenger. And it's a nice change from the Mojave. So far, well worth the MS Points...

Fucking gay. Fallout: NV has just trashed my 2nd playthrough after 40 hours. Strike 1 was around 32 hours when my EDE disappeared and made it impossible to get Rex, Strike 99 was when I got rid of the Gomorrah leaders without talking to the girl that Colonel Cunt said I should talk to first (since I had just saved the prostitutes it lead right into "how little we know") and it made "For the Republic Pt. 2" grayed out and in-completable. Console fixes won't work because the console can't be enabled on my system (and I've uninstalled any infrared drivers).

Guess I'll restart as that unarmed/stealth character now.

Damn that sucks dude. I'm playing on the 360, and I don't know if it has less problems or what, but I really haven't had very many issues. Don't get me wrong, the game is buggy, but my glitches have been minor. EDE left me a couple times, but he always returned back to Primm after a few days...

Agreed - I've had little things here or there, but no major crashes or bugs that have ruined part of the game..

Dead Money is starting to make me a bit claustrophobic. It's fun, and I'm gaining a ton of XP, but I'm trapped in this Villa until I finish the whole thing. I'm use to being able to see clear across the Wasteland...

Just finished my first playthrough - watching the Yes Man throw the general from the top of Hoover Dam was great stuff. As was the bomber flying overhead and carpet bombing the legion on Hoover Dam.

So there are countless iterations of the ending based on what you did with each potential party member, right?

I'm starting Fallout 3 again - I only got about 1/4th through that and am going to play it again now that I know why I sucked so bad at 3 - not specializing in anything.

On that note, do you recommend putting much into the Luck category of SPECIAL?

Yeah, I worked with Yes Man the first time too. But he didn't throw the General off the bridge. I wonder how many endings there really are. I'm interested to see how this second playthrough ends for me, since I'm all Legion.

I never add any points into Luck. But I've read that it can really make a difference If you put several points in that category. It could even make a huge difference in a game based around a city that relies on luck...

Just read a few Fallout 3 character creation guides and many recommended going big in luck because of the increased crit chances and across the board bonuses to other skills.

Best thing about going with high luck is that if you get in a skirmish and die, you re-load and the next time you'll probably luck-out and succeed.

I have 7 luck.

I let chandler live this time, I helped him escape with a stealth boy and bobby pin, though the fucking legion rode my ass all the way to outpost echo.
Going stealth/unarmed/energy this time, but I haven't even tried using my stealth abilities since I just wreck people's shit anyway.

I forgot how little Fallout 3 I had actually played - was only at level 8 when I stopped. Started over and am really glad I did. Great stuff.

Never had bothered building the Rock-It Launcher before today - great fun to take a guy's head off by firing a mutilated arm or lunchbox at him.
