How do you play online with other LIVE players

mplayer? You don't need any third party software to join or create network games in Quake 3. All you have to do is select "MULTIPLAYER" from the main menu, then make sure you set "Servers:" to "Internet". When you hit refresh you should see a list of servers to play at.

I don't think Q3's in-game server browser still reports Internet servers. You'll need 3rd party software to find servers, unless you know the IP address of a server.

Sure it does. Its always been kind of slow with refreshing the list, but it still works. 3rd party software would probably be faster I guess. I wouldn't know which one though. I haven't used any since the All Seeing Eye died.
