What resolution do you use?

Asking because I want to make a desktop wallpaper series, and don't know the popular sizes so the top three responses will be the ones made.

1920x1080 + 1650x1080 on desktop, 1366x768 on laptop.

You don't need to know popular sizes, just make sure your wallpapers are made for 16:9 and 16:10 aspect ratios. If you need to choose between the two, 16:9.

Top 3 according to the Steam hardware survey of May 2011:

1920 x 1080 @ 21.10%
1680 x 1050 @ 18.18%
1280 x 1024 @ 12.45%

wouldn't the aspect ratios be more important than the actual resolutions? make a 1.77:1 version and a 1.6:1 and you should be good.

Yes, didn't realize that until I re-tallied by aspect ratios and found that it's mostly 16:9 and 8:5. Currently it's 5-4, with 8:5 winning :)

SO, right now those two are the main numbers. I probably couldn't match the mars rover as far as unique images, but the set is still something i want to do anyways.

thx for the help! Hard part will be picking the images and making them desktop worthy
