Characters can have more than one pre-order item as well as the aura.

Heh, you can log in and manage various account details at the moment, as well as look at your characters.

Nope. Just checked.
My Thrud account has the Censor's Icon (quite possibly the poo-est of the pre-order items), and my CE account has the Chimeric Prism, the Euro one.

You might want to try opening a support request. They might be able to merge them for you.

If you hadn't used your CE pre-order key with a new account you could have added it to your Thrud account, then used the CE retail key with that one too. Then, later on you could have created a new account with your old pre-order pack's retail key. Then you would've had the icon, the prism and the aura all on Thrud's account, but alas a bit too late now.

I doubt they'll do anything about the merging as I've seen them reject requests like that again and again saying that it's too much overhead for them to implement processes like that because they're not charging monthly fees =/

heres a question

guildwars.com states that you can have up to 4 different chars per account. does that mean you can also have 4 simultaneous connections on 1 account?

Nope. You can connect just 1 time per account at any given time. Otherwise, you'd have people sharing accounts all over the place. You can however, play from multiple computers. You don't even need the CDs. Just d/l the client and log in.

oh the client thing is pretty cool

i was hoping i'd only have to buy 1 copy so i could do some quests along with the missus. but that would require two copies then. oh well

btw if you join a guild, does that make you automatically a pvp char? or are there advantages of joining a guild in roleplaying mode ?

(browsing through the guildwars site.. does it show?

1) Nope.
2) Yup. Join us. We trade items around and help each other complete the missions. We're (sort of) using my forums for guild and GuildWars discussions. http://www.fender.net/forums

I've been playing as Zadr Hellstorm, an Elementalist/Necromancer (good fun). Someone contact me in-game some time to get me in the guild. I'm already at level 8 and in post-searing Ascalon, though I've done few quests. Heh, I scoured every inch of pre-searing.
