Apparently you can't change the video settings outside of fullscreen resolution. Trying to apply Ultra settings seems to do nothing, unless I'm a retard.

I don't know what it is, but no BF game has ever come close to making me have fun the way 1942 did. Besides that game, CoD > BF. I won't write BF3 off yet, though. I just hope there are more closed-in maps that aren't sniperfests. And I'm tired of being dropped from halfway across the map in 2 shots by someone with an assault rifle.

Ultra looked like shit for me, at least on the Metro map, so you're probably right.

The Caspian Border map should have been default. It looks fantastic in motion. Draw distances in particular are just epic. I still think the game is dull as fuck though. On the bigger maps, it takes about 3 minutes to get to your objective and when you get there, some proning camper twat just takes you out with a sniper rifle. Fuck that.
