As many opinions as there are people: a quite favorable review on Kotaku http://kotaku.com/5848430/rage-the-kotaku-review
Re: More Rage
I'm not done yet, but...12 hours?
Surely there's more to it than that. I just started fighting the giant at the Dead City and I'm probably at around 5 hours...

Re: More Rage
I think it took me about 16 and I beat all the races and mini-games too.
Re: More Rage
xer0s -- I am on hour 16 and I just passed what he describes as the midway point. However, I am trying to do almost everything on this first run, so I am sure I'm drawing it out a little bit.
That said, to reiterate my first post, wow this game is fun.
It is odd though that you can go to some environments and see some of the most stunning imagery ever in a video game, then go indoors and see some of the most mediocre. lol

This line only remake is total rubbish I've ever seen!!! Fuck off!!! --CZghost
Re: More Rage
Same here. My most recent save is, in fact, right when the giant pops up after grabbing the RL.xer0s wrote:I'm not done yet, but...12 hours?

Played an hour so far, doing all the missions people offer me; it's a lovely looking game to be honest and feel great. Happy I got it now...I nearly didn't

Re: More Rage
360 or PC? I'm still bummed the 360 gets the awesome mini game for when you defib, and PC........ Gets a button....
Re: More Rage
they said it was pretty lame on the PC to have the user button mash some keystring, so they changed it to a timing game instead.
Re: More Rage
did that patch change anything? why should i get it?...
Re: More Rage
Why the hell would a patch change anything? That's just stupid.

Re: More Rage
360; like the mini game and it's an ace game full stop so far. Quite the looker for a 360 game too; 60hz is brilliant as it's constant

Re: More Rage
Just finished my second play through, took 6 hours that time. Had to get the card I missed and did the races before they were removed in Subway Town. Got two chevo's left now, and those are coop ones.

Sorry to say but have you ever considered that your massive obsessive/compulsive personality pretty much guarantees your game will never be finished?
Re: More Rage
No, its not. Its the fact the team are actually enjoying having a life OUTSIDE the warm computer monitor glow.

Re: More Rage
Ah..the old "we like sunshine" retort. Kinda weird you saying that considering you just admitted to spending a shit ton of time in front of a screen playing Rage.....for the second time.
Sorry, but I was under the impression you weren't a dilettante and were serious about releasing a game. I didn't think your answer would be to slag the profession you intimate you wish you were in.
I guess all I'm saying is that if you actually were serious about game development that you seem the type to become another George Broussard and not make any progress unless everything is "perfect".
