I've spent a couple of minutes yesterday on refreshing my first ctf level "infinity".
Really just been trying to get a bit more color consistency and kicking out the bad textures..

I've been working on more stuff in the past months that I don't feel like showing yet.

Just a few low detail models I've made over the last couple of days to scatter around the levels & world as props, just to add a bit of visual detail here and there...

Your work always amazes me fkd, good stuff. Though why you just don't use 1.4 is beyond me :P

A while ago i started working on a map for urban terror called ut4_Siberia. 2 months ago or so i switched to max since the map will be released for the new version of UrT that handles models much better than 4.1.
So after making a bunch of misc models like barrels, containers, lamps and so on i decided it's time to start working on the terrain.
This was made yesterday, the diffuse map is a single 2048 map. For the final terrain build I'll probably try splitting it up into smaller portions and then rendering the diffuse maps and light maps from max.

If you're going to have unique surface diffuse maps, you can bake the lighting right down into the diffuse and even bake down normal map and ambient occlusion. It all depends on the size of the map and how much texture data you're going to end up pumping out.

Exactly what I'm planning to do. Just I'm not sure what to do with the light stage during the compile.
I know some people already bake shadows and compile without the light stage though I'm not sure if that's the best way to go.

Just ignore the light stage on that specific surface then.

And sock, some these photos are serious business. You know I love that stuff =)

I'm running towards then end of Gears of War 3 and was wondering whether I should play Batman: Arkham City or Assassin's Creed Brotherhood next. Sock's pics made me decide to play Assassin's Creed :)

Well...since the game has been officially announced, I can say that I'm working on this but I can't publically say what level I'm working on:

Hah, I just recently watched a Rogue Spear video on youtube. Good times. :)
Last Rainbow 6 game I tried wasn't anything like it though.
