Tool back in the recording studio

Post by Eraser »

The November edition of Tool's newsletter seems to confirm that the band have begun tracking for their upcoming new studio album with longtime producer/engineer Joe Barresi.

Hope it's true and accurate.
They've been long overdue for a new album.

Amazing!

I highly recommend Puscifiers new album - Conditions of my Parole

Brilliant album, really surprised by how good it was. Highlights are Green Valley and Tumbleweed for me; both beautiful

thx for the suggestion. I've put the album up. Sounds like one of those albums that takes a few listens for it to grow on you.

Yeah I was not really into it the first time I listened. Luckily I am good enough with music to know that first impressions don't really count for much unless it is a truely outstanding album. Plenty of good albums would have slipped through my fingers if it was not for multiple listens!

they have become pretentious, less angry and make overly long songs that don't hold a candle to Ænima...

Over due for an album....aren't they just "due"?

2006 was 10,000 days and they release about every 5 years...I actually just checked their website the other day because I realized it was about time, if they had been writing.

Lookin forward to it
