I've not trained properly in 7 weeks; getting back on it Monday. Put some pounds back on due to diet and drinking but I think it will come off in 2 or 3 weeks. Need to get ready for a hopeful holiday in February :D

A question for you guys - I may just be making this up but I need to see if anyone else gets this. After a good work out I get into my car to go home and find that everything seems more clear (vision) to my vision and my senses are hightened? Really odd and I might be imagining things?

So I spoke to the bloke running it and I signed up!

6 sessions to start you out with that they call On Ramp. These initial sessions teach you basics (movement etc) and then they ramp up the difficulty to test you. Then you are allowed to attend the normal sessions. Wish me luck; I think I am going to need it. December 5th is the first session... :)

Cheers sir; 11 hours and counting

Little bit worried as I am aching like a beast today from racing yesterday. Brutal 66 lap race with some none to friendly competitors so I got shunted about a bit.

Hopefully tonight will be light and basic, rather than them trying to prove how tough it is and breaking me :clownboat:

first one will be an assessment of your overall flexibility and fitness level. the wod will be a real simple one but there will be a lot of warmup and what not

Sounds good. I like to train on a full stomach (unless I'm training legs) so I usually eat within 30 minutes of training, but I'm in the minority as far as that is concerned. If it's been more than 30 minutes since I've eaten then I'll have a protein shake right before I walk in the gym.

First session was good. Covered squats, front squats, overhead squats, press, ring pulls and rowing (they mix it up it seems)

Did 35 minutes on movement then did a mini WOD which was:
250 meters row
15x squats, press, ring pulls
12x squats, press, ring pulls
9x squats, press, ring pulls
250 meters row

Managed it in 11:42 which was dire, but it did make me realise how unfit I still am depite regular gym training. Smashed in 2 shakes, a chicken breast, a steak and some veg today.

Back for round 2 tomorrow with dead lifts and cleans from memory...

Med ball cleans

Then a AMRAP of:
30 rope singles

Managed 3 full reps....shoddy aint the word. Thought my heart was gonna come outta my chest. Now home for chicken and a shake and a good sleep!

How does it feel to be owned in the gym by Don Carlos? The difference between you two is he actually trains.

nobody here owns me in a gym...it never happened, is certainely not happening right now and will never happen for as long as i live...watching u guys brag about 'training' with those cracker jack boxes junk training programs is like trying to get excited watching the special olympics...you wanna be fair and congratulate them, but in the end, you know they're just a bunch of retards giving all they got....which is not much :olo:
