yes.
the actual confrontation between travis and dexter couldve been more tense; twas a bit of a weak buildup.

the last scene could also have been achieved without the trailerpark romance imo. not sure why theyre going that route.

Because Deb and Dexter broke up IRL, So they're a little awkward working together.

Why not bring in some southern US Viewers while they're at it? :D

She's not much to look at, even Dexter has bigger breasts than Deb.

I think in the books, Deb finds out about Dexter much earlier on. Haven't read them though.

She did say she believed that some people should die and that she wasn't the one to make that decision, so she'd more than likely let Dexter make those decisions for her.

Perhaps after realizing what Dexter is, then Dexter could explain to her why her father spent so much more time with him (teaching him "The Code") when they were kids.

Or maybe she'll just pull out her gun and put a bullet through Dexter's head.

Everything in my previous post has been focused on this season...except of course Deb shooting Dexter through the face.

right, so basically having his 'fucked up in the head' sister in love with him pretty much guarantees she won't rat him out, she will be more understanding towards his actions.

Btw, I hate them for using such a obvious shock factor to make a season ending have a little unf behind it. So now what? is deb going to give him extra legal elbow space for him to carry on his work? Surely having your superior on your side will make his work alot easier....oh god all this sounds really fucking gay.

you're overthinking this. it's just a weak development device employed by sub-standard writers to keep people interested in a show that has jumped more sharks than evel knievel on a jet ski at marine world

right, right, that's why I cringed at the final scene. it's knida like when they killed rita off....made for an awesome season finale, but clearly the amount of episodes they had to use up next season to clean up the mess of their sensationalized finale was embarrassing. And honestly, they never really recovered...something was broken for ever. Next season will be even worse.

Probably just to make their relationship appear even stronger before she witnessed him murdering someone.

After all the focus they put on Deb's taboo emotional struggle with Dex, it seems obvious to me that on some level she will accept his secret and keep it to herself. She'll become even more damaged than she already is (as hard as that is to do), and she'll wrestle with the weight of her discovery for at least the first half of the next season. Maybe she'll have a breakdown or take a soma holiday, but in the end, she won't turn him in and may even help him once she's back on her feet. When the season starts to wrap up, however, Deb will probably have a crisis of conscience brought on by some 3rd party (a love interest, the main villain of season 7, whatever) and will end up either leading a manhunt to stop Dex or will kill him herself, ending the series.

You heard it here first. Now let's fast forward a year and see how close I am. I'll laugh if she kills herself in episode 1. Actually... that would be weak writing, so it's probably what will happen. :olo:

that annoying whiner getting offed was the best thing that's happened in all 6 seasons. this season, has been utter wank.
i don't care about her per... Just the implications of him being a single dad. they totally through Rita's kids out of the equation sloppily, and forced dexter to be a single father, which that part of the show really was handled this season really badly. Even though Dexter was calling himself a father and what not, it really didn't do shit to the plot or anything in relevance.
