EntityPlus sword model (ver. 2)

I was bored yesterday and I decided I'd have another go at the sword model idea.

(I do realize that a sword will most likely not be put into EntityPlus, And Ouija's model was pretty kick-butt, so I don't really think this will amount to anything. I just want to try and contribute to the mod.)

I've made the basic model but I can't decide on a good texture layout...I made a quick, crappy one, but, what would be a cooler look for this sword? :confused: :dork:

This sword was made with celshaded/fantasy maps in mind,btw.

(about the weapon-ness of the sword: will I have to animate the model preforming a swing, or would coding do that?)

IIRC you don't animate weapons in q3, they're moved around by code. I'm pretty sure that Eraser didn't add a weapon animation system. Not sure though.

i'd say put more work into it. its too cartoony and not really in line with all the other weapons design. good luck.

ok, first of all, lol at the idea of wielding a sword in q3. and second, the right side of the handle is bent out of shape.
