QR, as it is seen today in marketing, is fucking retarded. QR used for logistics (shipping, receiving, warehouse) is fucking genius.

I remember when the military started using barcode scanning in general for logistics and I thought that was cool. Then I saw how RFID tags were being used.

Great. Because what they don't tell you is that this app will phone home all your contact information, text messaging info, web browsing history, system configuration, list of installed apps and other private sensitive data.
