Guckert insisted his only involvement with the sex sites was as a software consultant and, he added: "Those sites were never hosted. There's -- nothing ever went up on them," as he told CNN's Wolf Blitzer on Feb. 10. In an interview posted Feb. 11 with Editor & Publisher magazine, Guckert made the same claim: "They were done through a private company [Bedrock Corp.] I was involved with doing Web site development about five years ago. The sites were never hosted, and nothing was ever posted to the sites." On Monday, John Aravosis posted on his liberal site AmericaBlog.com detailed evidence indicating that not only was Guckert personally involved with the Web sites, but he was also offering his escort services for $200 an hour, or $1,200 a weekend.

Yea, you're right about that.

But hypocrite is still a word I associate with republican politicians these days. It seems that every initiative they propose or support, is one that they would never espouse if they were in different positions - or sometimes even if they were still in their positions, wouldn't support it on a personal level, but only in the politicial arena.

For instance, I wonder if anyone ever asked George Bush whether he and Laura ever used condoms or birth control? :icon26:

edit: And I'm not sure if you would call this hypocritical, or just plain lying by omission, but Alan Keyes said in an interview something to the effect of "If my daughter were a lesbian, I would tell her it was a sin she should be repentantl for, and shun her." This was before the story was public, but he had already known that his daughter was a lesbian since she was in high school.

Unfortunately, a lot of people replace common sense with bible scriptures so they don't have to consider things in a rational and caring manner, so idiots like this have popular support.

Why can't we just make them go found their own country based on the bible, instead of having them declare that the founding fathers were idiots and trying to rewrite ours?
