Yep, this seems the right place to discuss female eye brow hair removal;

All you chicks visiting these boards :lol: Let it grow out, I say. Show me that natural shit.
Don't groom eyebrow hairs, they're there for a reason, namely to show emotion.

@eraser:
You superficial homo
That's a terrible idea. And her eyebrows bug the fuck out of me, too.

I only got into this show about a month ago when someone gave me the first season. :up: Watching the past 2 weeks episodes tonight or tomorrow. I want Arya to be a little badass and Sansa to fall off a cliff. Love Tyrion and Bronn's characters best.

I forgot to mention Arya's situation. Her and her assassin's scene was really good. But I really wanted her to go with him so she could "learn his ways.". But it sounds like we'll eventually see him again when she says the magic words...

This. And also why did the boys and their escort of large dimwit and slaggy maiden not run towards them, seeing as they're you know, fighting for the Starks?

Epic episode otherwise, loved the Imp scene and the scene between Arya and the faceless man especially.

Want the next season and want rightfuckingnow, damnit.

btw lols

also, why was danaerys content to nick all of the big black dude's gold stuff? didn't he and the warlock guy kill the rest of the rulers of qarth, meaning she could pretty much take over if she wanted?

Have you been paying any attention at all? Daenerys isn't interested in Qarth at all. She wants to sit on the Iron Throne and rule all of Westeros.

holy fucking derp, batman. don't you recall the conversation 1 or 2 eps ago in which it was explained to danaerys that crossing the narrow sea with 1 boat and a few diehard supporters wasn't going to get her the iron throne? and what was she planning to do at the end of ep10? use big boy's gold trinkets to buy a small ship and do just that?

if she ruled qarth her dragons would be well fed, get fully grown, maybe she'd even be able to scrape together an army with all the wealth they seem to have, or even get a load of followers because she's the mother of dragons etc. better chance of success all round

ffs now who's not paying attention, clog-hopper :dork:

Oh look, she got her DRAGAWNS.

Seriously good ending. Except for the zombies.

So not really.

But everything else was cool. Especially the Imp scene. Tears.

over all I think this season was pretty weak. All I can really remember of it, is the continuing fight between two massively self absorbed families and some chick who lost and then got her dragons back.

At the end of an entire season, of which you never got what was promised (at least teased) from the 1st season which was the excitement of going beyond the wall, and having sweet dragon action, we are left yet again with a hook on the same two main points. A scene of deadwalkers in the verge of kickassery and the promise of dragon action to come. :disgust:

Just makes me feel that , we'll end up watching yet another filler season, of which nothing "really" happens at the wall, and some prepubescent dragons going through the awkward teenage stage. :olo:

The producers have said all they really wanted to do was get to season 3 because it's going to kick ass. So...you're wrong.

and they apparently had no budget - hence the weak-ass and/or completely skipped battles. not to bring up the books again, but this one really was a huge stall. basically just arya getting caught and escaping (with the help of the assassin dude) and eventually Tyrion saving KL. lots of banter and people making the absolutely stupidest decision possible in any given situation (re: theon, robb, etc) and that's about it. the budget issue has me worried about coming seasons. i get that it's expensive to make what's effectively a 10 hour feature film, but surely they knew that before they started and beyond that should have known that there would eventually be battles and special effects.

It's OK, they can bonk the person on the head, then have them wake up later and talk about how awesome the battle was.

I never said she was particularly smart about it or that it was a good idea. But it should be pretty obvious that she's blindly going for that iron throne and that she has an unconditional faith in her dragons.

I agree tbh.
I also feel this season was like having an argument with a woman; the issues at the end are have nothing to do with the issues you start with.

frankly, if you don't enjoy the show simply for the mentality of the characters, their fucked-up situations and the shit they come out with, you're watching the wrong show.
Yeah agreed. I've talked to other people who go like "oh Game of Thrones is just talk and more talk. Where's the demons and the dragons and the zombies and the magic?" and I'm just arguing that the sweetness of the series is in stuff like the conversations between Arya and Tywin, or the tension between Cersei and Tyrion, how cuntish Joffrey is and how Theon is doing a clean bit of self ownage right there. It's not a D&D movie.

that I also agree with. I've heard lots of people describing GoT to other people as "LOTR the series" and I'm like, what?
There's talk of drawgans (but you rarely see them) and there's "a dwarf", but that's about it. Morons expecting walking trees next.
