That stand off between Walt and Skylar was awesome. You can really see his criminal ego completely erasing old Walt. Based on the way he reacted to Mike/Jesse, I'm guessing his ego making him careless is what ends the show. Although he didn't say not to kill her so hopefully Mike finds a way to do both. And as much as I hate her, Skylar's acting has been pretty great this season.

hank probably has his deep suspicions right now, or at least doesn't realize it yet.

He does. When they talked about Gus Fring at the beginning of the season the other cop was saying how it was "right under everyone's noses the whole time" and it shows Hank apparently in deep introspection.

Well the problem he has, especially now, is that he will pretty much be forced to resign when Walt is caught. He would have had to leave the case if they started looking at Walt, but now that he is the boss that wouldn't be an issue. But then, he can't really investigate now and wouldn't want to tell his guys without being 100%. I think he has been trying to convince himself Walt isn't the man, and was hoping the cooks burned up with the lab. I feel like this next episode we will get to see what Hank is thinking now that he knows the cook is probably still alive and Walt just got those two new cars right after the blue meth showed back up. And the mess with Skylar just doesn't add up to an affair.

Anyone catch the 10 minute car commercial that was the entire opening of this Sunday's episode? *facepalm*

I can't imagine AMC is really that hard up for money.

It did feel very unlike the show in terms of presentation but I saw it as part of Walt's dangerously carefree criminal ego taking over. In that sense it did a good job of showing the excitement, power, and invulnerability he was feeling.

I was surprised they were playing Bonfire by Knife Party. That whole EP is sick.

Amazing episode.

I don't see how Hank can suspect Walt. There's not a single thing connecting him to Jesse, Fring, Mike, or anything related to production.

Was there a new episode on this past Sunday night? If so, I need to shoot my DVR, as it didn't record it.

i like how that guy said 'wow you've really got it all figured out', and then when there was an unforseen circumstance, he was the only one with a plan :)
