Cityy needs motivation

Post by Infernis »

I've been talking to Cityy on Steam and he's telling me that he's a little bit demotivated to finish his latest Quake 3 project. He already has a layout, he knows what theme he wants to do, he just needs the motivation to get it done.

For those of you living under a rock. Cityy is a familiar name in the Quake 3 mapping scene. This German Wunderkind has two of his maps, Infinity and Silence, featured on Quake Live. The rest of his impressive portfolio can be found here.

I openend this thread to hopefully collect some motivational words from the community. Because who doesn't want to see a new Cityy map? I'll kick it off with this pic about perseverance.

Go cityy! Complete your work. Sometimes all you need is 30 minutes one-on-one with your map in Radiant to get those creative juices flowing again. Go for it.

Do a colab project with another keen mapper, you'll end up motivating each other.

More or less :p
I haven't really had a chance to work on anything lately because I finally moved out of my parents' house.

I think I'll leave out on that; I'm with less than 25m², including kitchen and bathroom. \o/
