What speed is your service suppose to be?

Who is your provider?

I get around 45-55 actual. It's rated at 512kbps, so it's only around 10K/sec lower than my theoretical max. Not too bad.

I have SBC though, and while the service has been fairly good (less downtime than when I had @Home cable or Comcast cable), the company itself is absolute shit. Worst company I've ever had to try to straighten anything out with, boy did that suck.

usually get around 60k actual upload so it's about right. Been with Cox Communications for a few years.

The reason I ask is my service is suppose to be 768k up and 6 meg down. Recently I've be U/Ling torrents at 109kB/s which works out to 872k. I'm not complaining. I just think it's odd that I'm getting those speeds.

BTW, my provider is Adelphia.
